So all, here's the deal. We're sure those of you that liked Spoiler Database are sad that it isn't really going on anymore. Basically, there will be an episode for it everytime we can manage to get one, meaning that, while we'll try our best, distances between episodes could be from a few weeks to a few months (as is the case right now). We apologize, but we realized that this is a very difficult show to keep going without stopping because the three of us just don't play enough video games, or rather we don't ALL play enough of the same.

Also, Sion and Kevin are starting a new show, and this one should actually for realz continue for a good bit of time. Look out for it in the coming weeks!

Spoiler Database - Upcoming Episode

Alright. After a six-month hiatus, SD will be coming back on the first Tuesday in May (May 2nd) with the Portal series! Considering how much all three hosts are fans of Portal, you can likely expect this to be a two-part episode. Then we will start back up with a normal schedule, in all probability making it through the summer.

E-mail SD with any video game that you would like us to do an episode on. The first and third e-mail we receive will be the next two episodes of SD, recorded the nearest Sunday to receiving the e-mails.

Kevin on the Editing of SD

Hey, Kevin here.

I want to bring to everyone's attention the release schedule of SD for a moment. I'm sure you all realize that it releases on Tuesday. I'm sure you've also realized that while it may release on Tuesdays, it is typically from the hours of 11pm to 12am.

I apologize for this.

However, I will not say that it is mine, or anyones' fault. Tuesday is when I usually edit, Mondays if I have time (rarely). Since I have school now on Tuesday, I have slim to no time to edit. Editing tends to be a 1-2 hour process. Yes, I may have about 7 to 9 hours after I get home from school from when I go to bed, but you forget that I do have other responsibilities (homework, dinner, marching band [practicing music]) etc.

This leaves me with little time to edit on Tuesdays.

Episodes will be released on Tuesday. Just note that typically they WILL be very late on Tuesday. So, I'd suggest checking for the episodes on Wednesdays. Even though they WERE released on Tuesday, likely Tuesday didn't have enough time left in it for you to see it on Tuesday.

I will seldom allow an episode to NOT be released on Tuesday, even if it is at 11:59pm. However, I'd really suggest you check on Wednesdays.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for listening anyway.

Over the next few months...

So, the hosts are starting school up very soon. We say this because we'd like you all to be aware that the possibility of late episodes is much higher now than it was during the summer.

For most of the hosts, real life does come before the podcasts, and if it is a choice between doing some big, 50% of-your-exam-grade project and editing the podcast, they'll likely choose the big project.

We hope it will not end up being an issue, especially not later in the year, but we thought we should let you all know that it's a possibility, and if an episode is late by a day or even a week, know that it is not because of Kevin being lazy or Sion being too Welsh, it's the fault of their school schedules and school priorities.

The blog has not been updated in a while. That's because there hasn't really been any news to report. We apologize for maybe keeping ya'll in the dark. Only real news is that: Wastelanders is hopefully coming out (next episode) by next Friday. Not a promise, but it's hopeful.

Spoiler Database will be delayed for a week

The next episode of Spoiler Database, Mass Effect Part 2, will be delayed in release for a week. This is due to Kevin not being able to edit. He was not being lazy; unfortunate circumstances prevented him from having time to edit.

Kevin is going out of town tomorrow at 9:30am, and after we all recorded the episode today (Kevin, Ryan, Sion), Kevin had to do things that unfortunately prevented him from editing. SD episode 7 will be released in conjunction with SD Episode 8, so you'll be getting two episodes next week.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, and we'll be back on track next week.
